Qalhat LNG is a new international energy company based
in the Sultanate of Oman. The company has already played
a significant role in Oman’s growth and contributing to
sustainable economic development. It is increasing its
efforts in expanding its activities, to give appropriate
attention to the environment and sow the seeds of social
investment.
If we take a step back to the launch of the project in
February 2003, so many world class achievements have
been accomplished and many challenges have been
conquered along the project’s journey. This would not
have been possible without the extraordinary support
from the Government of Sultanate of Oman, the
shareholders and most importantly our customers. The
commitment demonstrated by the Management Committee and
all our staff, has been a pillar of strength where every
one on board is always eager to improve and share the
responsibility in achieving and pushing the standards to
new heights within the company and with our partners
outside.
“Your Partner in Excellence” has been our true vision
and our commitment has been engraved in giving that
“Excellence with Responsibility”. Keeping the promise of
excellence in our commitments enabled us with the
support of our stakeholders to win the recognition of
the energy world. In September 2007, Qalhat LNG clinched
the most honored “Company of the Year 2006” Award, and
in 2008 with an outstanding success when we were
recognized as the “Best in Project Finance” by
Excellence in Energy Awards 2008.
Our identity is well presented in our logo. Surrounded
by blue sea and clouds are the colors of our beliefs in
purity of our business, care of our environment, respect
and value to our stakeholders and demonstration of
transparency. Our passion to work and deliver our
promises is glowing in red and is a promise to our
partners.
